The Easter and summer holidays can be difficult for families with two working parents and also be challenging for children who may be missing their usual interaction with their friends. To help with this, Broomfield runs a vacation programme in the first week of the Easter break and in the first two weeks of the summer holiday. Led by our own staff these holiday clubs are fun and filled with creativity and adventure, physical activities and games. We often take the children to Kew Gardens, making the most of our proximity to this amazing outdoor resource, or to local parks.
Flexible arrangements
Easter and Summer Schools are run in two sessions; morning (9.30am to 12 noon) and afternoon (1pm to 3.30pm). Any single session can be booked as well as whole days. Children staying all day bring a packed lunch and eat with the staff team. Any child attending Broomfield is welcome.
New Starters
We also invite those children joining us for the new academic year to attend Summer School. This can be a great induction to life at Broomfield and can smooth their start at school. It offers ways for them to meet key staff from the younger classes, to familiarise themselves with their new environment and play with other children so they will recognise faces on their first day of term.
