Children, staff and parents came together in the playground around our cross to commemorate Remembrance Day and observe the two minutes silence. Decorated with poppies from the Tower of London exhibition in 2014, it was a lovely opportunity to show how respectful even our littlest children can be.
Pre-Kindergarten created a lovely display of red, white and purple poppies reflecting the blood shed, peace and the animals that died. Each poppy’s black centres symbolises the grief of families who lost loved ones.
