Nine pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 set off for Guildford on Friday 5th November to represent Broomfield in the regional finals of the ISA Swimming Gala. Participating in breaststroke, backstroke and freestyle races, the children powered their way through the water, striving to keep ahead of their rivals. Mr Pache was so proud of their sportsmanship and focus. Broomfield has long been a school keen on swimming and loves to get involved in competitive sports, so it is wonderful to be back in the pool again. Our thanks go to the ISA for arranging this event and to our children for entering into the spirit of it with such enthusiasm.
