Another enterprising Broomfield family has been baking for the wonderful staff at our local Ealing and Hammersmith Hospitals. Maya, Year 5, has been whipping up some delicious brownies, cakes and cookies as a way to show her appreciation for the commitment of the NHS staff. But, not content with feeding the healthcare workers, Maya has also been putting together visors to keep them safe. Here she is, modelling her handiwork.
Maya has also been a cheerleader for her neighbour who completed the Iron Man Triathlon to raise funds for the NHS. We also congratulate you, Neil, £12,000 and counting…
Broomfield encourages its children to think of others and be active in their local communities and we are so proud of the ways that our children have been doing this, even under the confines imposed by lockdown.
