The energetic Sharpe family have been active in fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation UK. Mrs Sharpe had planned to be running the London Marathon for the first time this year, but undeterred after it was postponed, she set herself a new 2.6 challenge, running 10km everyday for a week round a local field followed by a handstand.
Yesterday, as well as completing the last 10km run (a total of 70km!), she also found the oomph for 26 handstands, 26 cartwheels, 26 headstands and 26 star jumps. Her 3 children and her husband joined in with some of the run and also the star jumps, I bet there will be some sore arms and legs in her household today! Well done, Jérôme, Olivier and Delphine (who also did the 26 headstands) for supporting your mother in raising donations which will make a difference to seriously ill children.
