In Year 4 this week, Mrs Purkayastha and Mrs Padhi were kind enough to come in and share the story of Diwali with the class.Β The children were very excited to make Diwali patterns using special stencils and coloured sands.Β Diwali is a four day long festival of lights, which is celebrated primarily by Hindus and Sikhs and starts this year on 27 October.
